【About the Art Receptionist】Setouchi Triennale 2019 Summer/Autumn: We start accepting application from the June 19th (Wed)!
Setouchi Art festival 2019 summer & autumn session will begin! We are calling for volunteers interested in performing the duties of an art receptionist at various installation sites during the festival. This is an important role at the very front line of the festival where you will act as a liaison between visitors and the art! You will be able to interact with the diversity of guests and fellow Koebitai volunteers from all over the world – and this is just one of the perks! Please join us for a variety of activity scheduling every day. Once the festival commences, we will need over 40 volunteers per day.
■Necessary belongings for volunteer activities for reception
Lunch, drink, towels, hats, comfortable wear and sneakers,passport/ID
〈Caution!〉
・It is very hot under the punishing sun. Don’t forget your towel, hat and plenty of water.
・Long pants are recommended to avoid mosquito bites.
・You should not wear the followings during volunteer activity: high heels, sandals, crocs shoes. Please make sure to bring long sleeves, long trousers, sneakers, towels and hats.

Meet at 7:10 in front of the artwork “Liminal Air-core-” → Finish at 18:00~18:30
(For Oshima only) Meet at 8:30 , Koebitai Office → Finish at17:00
【Uno Port】
Meet at 8:15,Uno port → Finish at18:00〜19:00(Expected)
For Teshima only
■Main schedule of the day (Megijima as example)
7:10 Morning Meeting @Takamatsu Port
8:00 Boarding to the ferry for Megijima *Koebitai staff will provide the ferry ticket.
9:00〜16:30 Reception duty
17:20 Boarding to the ferry for Takamatsu
17:45 Debriefing, settlements and housekeeping at Koebitai office
18:00 Get off work
■Receptionist duties:
* Opening and closing the installation site
* Cleaning the area
* Reception and information (i.e. stamping visitors’ passports, collecting admission fees, giving notices such as no photography, etc)
* Activity report * Accounting of admission fees
(At the end of the day we will go over daily reports and prepare for the next day’s activities.)
※ Don’t worry if you have no relevant experience with this kind of job! Our staff is able to accompany first timers!
