To Friends Travelling from Overseas to Join Koebitai Activities

About Koebitai

Basically speaking, Koebi activities are conducted in Japanese.  Meanwhile, volunteers from overseas are also accepted, and they will work together with our staff or other Koebi members.  Of course, foreign members who can speak Japanese are mostly welcomed; for those who cannot speak Japanese, why not to learn a sentence or two (e.g. greetings, etc.) before you come?  This will make your experience here a more enjoyable one.

※Please note that, due to administrative reasons, we are not able to provide invitation letters for the purpose of visa application.  Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

KOEBI-TAI (Little Shrimp Squad) is a volunteer group, which supports the Setouchi Triennale. We help artists from around the world who participate in the Setouchi Triennale by assisting their art production, installation, maintenance of their works, as well as agricultural activities during the Triennale. We also work with different venues, and help with the operations of various performances, and local events.

How to get to KOEBI TAI office from Takamatsu airport.

1. From Takamatsu airport, please take an airport shuttle bus and get off at "Takamatsu station".

It will take about 45 minutes and cost 760 yen.
